Fashion Week Spills Over To Belfast on March 7th (Tomorrow!)

Gone are the days when you have to travel to London, New York or Milan to attend fashion events or witness the latest high street designs.  Now, all you have to do is go to Sixty6 (66 High Street, Belfast) To top it all off, entry into the entire is event is free of charge.

On Saturday 7th March, a Belfast based fashion company named Kloth will be holding a very special event, The Kloth&Ko Experience.  Company owner, Orla, says that “Our aim is to bring together young fashion designers, retailers, entrepreneurs, bloggers, and shoppers in a unique setting. We want to create a vibrant atmosphere with a focus on fashion and local talent.”

The event will be one to remember with two distinct parts to the day.  The first is from 10am-5pm where a fashion sale will be held alongside music and cocktails (what’s not to like?).  Later on in the evening from 6-8pm is a Fashion Installation with a DJ and drinks.  This is “An evening curated by stylists Orla Eastwood and Lewis Cameron will give fashion lovers the opportunity to interact with models at a live fashion installation.”

This is a very important event as it is allowing young and budding designers to get their ideas and designs out into the open.  It will definitely be a day to remember and is the perfect opportunity to introduce yourself to those that are directly involved in the fashion business and you can gain an insight to the Belfast fashion scene.
