Meet the Candidates: Campaigns and Communications

Find out a little about the candidates running for VP Campaigns and Communications. Voting takes place on QoL next week (3rd-5th March).

Seán Fearon

Well folks! My name is Seån Fearon from Armagh and I’m running for election to be your next Student Officer for Campaigns and Communications. I’m a final year Politics, Philosophy and Economics student with a strong and varied history of social, environmental and political activism at Queen’s and elsewhere. In recent years there has been an unfortunate vacuum of vibrant campaigning at QUB, and I have the passion and experience to reinvigorate our student body to demand positive change. If elected I will take only the living wage and donate the remaining stipend to hardship causes and student campaigns.

Caitríona Keenan

My name is Caitriona Keenan and I am looking for your support to become VP Campaigns and Communications. Being captain of the largest sports club in Queen’s, I am equipped with invaluable leadership skills: relentlessly commanding a campaign with UTV and successfully earning the Knights’ sports club status. If elected, I will use this passion and determination to fight for increased student support, protect your education; and defend your student experience. I am the perfect ambassador to represent the student body in its entirety – irrespective of gender, race or political background. Let your voice be heard and vote #Caitriona4Campaigns.
